First Annual Event! A Night to Live Like Roner 8/2/18

Huntington Beach, CA – August 2nd , 2018 the action sports community will gather at SeaLegs at the Beach on Bolsa Chica State Beach off Pacific Coast Highway. The reason for the gathering is a celebration of life and fundraising event for world-renowned skier, skydiver and original cast member of Nitro Circus, Erik Roner. Erik tragically passed away in 2015 after suffering an injury during a skydive accident at a charity event in his hometown of Lake Tahoe.

This will be supported by 501(c)3 Athlete Recovery Fund and the event will be happening the same week the US Open of Surfing visits just south near the Huntington Beach Pier. Tons of celebrity athletes from around the world will be present to show their support and participate in the activities. This event is free and open to the public. Parking fees as well as food and drink will be sold on site including opportunities to bid on auction items.

The day will start with a group of industry-invited guests participating in a team challenge with mini bikes, stand up paddle race and obstacle course. Other activities will include a sky diving exhibition, DJ’s, carnival games, great food and beverage, comedic performances, live music by the 80’s cover band Flashback Heart Attack, and a snowboard, ski and contraption rail jam on real snow!

Fundraising activities will include silent and live auctions as well as ticket sales for limited access where you can reserve tables, rub elbows with all the stars of Nitro Circus, celebrities and other action sports stars. All proceeds will go to benefit Erik Roner’s wife Annika and their two children Kasper and Oskar.
